The 55th Annual Heart & Stroke Ball took place on April 26th at the Garden City Hotel. This event was held to celebrate outstanding accomplishments of individuals and organizations in the "areas of cardiovascular science and leadership in wellness".
Dr. Jorge L. Gardyn, MD, F.A.C.P of Island Occupational Medical Resources P.C. (IOMR) received the Cardiovascular Science Honoree Heart Disease Intervention in Fire Services Award.
